Kids area was perfect for my little ones! Wished we were able to cover more of the park. New things at every turn. Only issue was the lady in the gift shop was not very friendly, and definitely did not tolerate children well.

I always love going around Halloween to see the new temp displays that various organizations create. So many little areas to discover and try to get to one of the thursday night events with cocktails. A great stop during the holiday season as well.

We loved the visit to the botanical garden. This is a great feature within Piedmont park. Lots of things to see and do. Lots of flowers to see even in September.

Yes, they are complimentary and first come, first served. I remember the area being really flat for the most part, but there is a lower garden path that has a bit of a hill back up.

I was there in April and Orchids were the star of the show. Not sure how often their special exhibits change.
