    2023 magic
Wonderful experience! Magical walkways through imaginatively created landscapes. Highly Recommend!! The parking is extremely expensive and you may wish to find parking elsewhere. The other thing to note is they do not accept any form of currency other than credit cards.

    Very well worth it
We went to with our 2 teenage daughters. We had lots of fun. Very nice and clean beautifully maintained. Lots of pictures were taken. We had a lot of fun learning about all the plants and flowers. The scenery is very breathtaking. We enjoyed our time here. It was nice to visit and relax. We toured the garden at our own pace. It is big and the time we went wasn’t overcrowded which was nice, gave us time to explore and take lots of beautiful pictures.if you like nature it’s a definite must visit. We ended up buying the membership because we will definitely be back.

    Atlanta Holiday Favorite
The Botanical garden during the holidays is a magnificent sight to behold. There are beautiful light installations with the myriad of plants and foliage. You can walk through the experience with family and friends. They’re set to festive music and motion. There are large sculptural pieces too. This is an iconic Atlanta holiday tradition.

    Pleasant Surprise
My husband and I visited Saturday night, this was our first visit and it will not be our last! What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday night but still be close to lots of cute restaurants & shopping! We arrived at 7pm and left around closing at 9pm. Clean restrooms and water fountains provided throughout the park, easily accessible, fun photo ops and live music!

    Gorgeous Tulips in March
My BFF and I visited in March on a rainy day. It wasn't ideal but we weren't deterred as we had come to visit the trolls. The tulips and orchids were gorgeous too; so many variegated varieties! We spent a couple of hours, meandering around and photographing things like crazy.

    A Must-Do While In Atlanta
The garden that never ends! Make sure to plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to see as much of this place as you can - it's HUGE! We had 11:30am admission, and everyone thought that was perfect. It gave us enough time in the morning to have breakfast without rushing, and still gave us plenty of daytime to enjoy the massive property. We were staying at a hotel within walking distance (The Starling), so we didn't have to worry about parking. We probably spent four hours walking around and taking it all in. Make sure you go to all the exhibits. Take all the random turns. Walk down the random paths - they all bring you somewhere new. It was magical! Don't forget to grab a map! I would also bring sunscreen, a hat, a backpack, and cold water. They have cold water available in the gift shop that you can buy before heading out on your adventure. There is a restaurant within the garden, but the menu seemed a little small (and almost a little fancy?), so we opted to eat at a local bar/pub within walking distance of the garden - you have options.

A great spot to relax on a hot day
My daughter is in grad school in Europe, so we met up in Atlanta for a few days of visiting. Really glad she picked the botanical garden -- relaxed, beautiful, a nice walk with lots of shade, live jazz, air conditioned bar and restaurant. Just a great place to get away for a relaxing afternoon.

    Pretty place
If you enjoy the outdoors or plants, you'll definitely like this. I went in the summer during off hours (after 4PM) and it was not that crowded. The gardens itself are very large and there is a lot to explore, so you definitely get a lot of walking in. They have many flower exhibits as well as a vegetable garden. I personally liked the enclosed space in which there was a plethora of plants - it was quite aesthetic! Many people look forward to seeing the lady made of flowers and she was definitely beautiful. However, I will say that I'd love to see more exorbitant flower displays in the future!

    Lovely!
These gardens are gorgeous and in a natural wooded peaceful setting with easy to follow boardwalks and sidewalks. The greenhouse displays are lots of fun as well. The employees were so very kind and the gift shop could exist as a stand alone shop. Lots of places provided to sit and rest on a hot, hot day. The only downside is the parking garage! It was immense, expensive, and practically empty. It’s there, you’ve got the space, just let people park so they can pay to visit the gardens.

Visited the botanical gardens during a work trip in Atlanta. Even in winter, it was worth a visit. The greenhouses were very nice and vibrant. The variety of green houses was also very appealing, one of them was under construction, but there was plenty to see. Recommended to visit, especially in spring or summer, it will be even better then.

I recently visited family in the area and we bought tickets for the Light Festival around Thanksgiving. You are on a self-guided tour after dusk on the Garden 's paved paths. As you wander the grounds, surround-sound holiday toons are played as you gaze at elaborate, lights exhibits. Gorgious and very uplifting ! Also, there are benches to rest on and beverages to purchase. The tour takes about one hour to walk and the indoor arboredum is also open to tour with gift shop. We really enjoyed it !!

Stopped by because we were near the park. Nice place but I’m sure in the warmer months there’s much more to see. February is not a good time many of the plants are not in bloom. Still a nice day there

So much fun. We went with our kids and had such a good time. Seeing Christmas light is one of our favorite traditions. A few hours can be spent walking all of the trails. Overall a wonderful experience.

I visited the Atlanta botanical garden during the Garden lights, holiday nights event and was blown away by the stunning displays of lights and colors. The garden is huge and has something for everyone...exotic orchids and metal sculptures...White Rabbit and the skynet. Friendly staff. Great visit for family and friends!

We went yesterday night, as we try to go annually around Christmas. I’m unsure if the Botanical Gardens have had budget cuts this year or some type of issues that have caused the experience to change, but this year was not nearly as good as the years prior. The budget should not be an issue because the ticket prices were more expensive this year and the exhibit was sold out most nights. I hope they bring back more music and energy. Whoever decided to change the way the Holiday Lights are running this year, it was a snooze fest. Change it back please, it’s far too expensive to be that lackluster.

Our family came for the holiday garden lights. I was a little concerned that it would an overpriced disappointment but it was not. The garden was stunning. There were several places that were set up like small light shows to music. The canopy walk was almost immersive with their windy path of rain shower of lights all around you. You could appreciate the view for hours, feeling like you were in the lights (you will understand once your there). There was plenty of seating throughout for anyone who needed a break, who wanted to soak in the lights, or just people watch. There was a fun DJ near a s’more station where families did some dancing. We were happily back in the car after about 75 minutes. Only downside- it was a standstill trying to turn into the garden from the main road because of a sold out night (about 20 minutes).

We had a really great experience. The holiday lights consistently deliver a great family event. Our adult daughters took us and now we know that all those times we took them to museums, plays, etc, it has paid off! We especially love the DJ outside the orchid house. The tunes were great! When we last attended the Lights in 2020, another excellent DJ was there. We loved going through the greenhouse and we said, "If we don't make it to the Botanical Gardens again this year, we at least went today"
