A great walk next to Piedmont Park with great exhibits throughout the year. Well worth a visit if you are passing through Atlanta or if you live here and have never been. The orchid house is amazing but the whole place is great.

An activities group I'm part of decided to take an afternoon to check out the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We paid the $21.95 entrance fee (and if you have AAA membership, you can save $2). As we walked around, we realized that most of the plants aren't bloomed, so it didn't look any different than the woods in winter. I realize... More

I really enjoyed my first visit here, even though it is late winter/early spring and not much is in bloom. The gardens are laid out in a thoughtful, meandering way so that you can stroll around enjoying nature. So many plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, and even critters to look at! The Fuqua facility was fabulous! Even before we reached the... More

I chose the Botanical Gardens on February 11, 2017 as the site for a family Valentine's gathering. The atmosphere was GORGEOUS! The ice bar, stilted tree man and pirate, the DJ and the funky band and Spanish guitarist , the desserts and decorations were FIRST CLASS. The service, both by paid staff and volunteers was excellent. The orchids were BEAUTIFUL.... More

Amazing orchids and greenery. If I can make a suggestion to anyone it is to take your time or make time for the orchid exhibit. Just indescribable beauty within an already beautiful place to be. I've been to other gardens (The Biltmore Estate, Fort Worth Texas botanical garden) and was blown away by the greenery on exhibit. Even though my... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the Orchid Daze exhibit and strolling around the gardens. As it is early in the year, I am sure I did not get the full glory of the gardens. Located within Piedmont Park made for a grand day of walking and enjoying nature at its finest.

If you love flora, you will love the ABG I had the afternoon off from a conference and I decided to chase my Canadian winter blues away with a stroll through peaceful gardens and greenhouses. I was not disappointed. The signage was clear, the flowers beautiful and the restaurants and gift shops were well appointed. And I got to sit... More

The lights were amazing. We came from Greenville SC and it was well worth the drive! We will be back next Christmas! There was so much to do. And so much to see. Great place for kids/families or just couples.

They keep it interesting by constantly changing the grounds. November/December is a great time to go to see the winter lights and installations. Buy tickets in advance for this time of year. Great for the summer too. Best to visit a couple of hours before sunset, walk the grounds (which will take a couple of hours if your're strolling). Grab... More

We have been to see the wonderful Topiary Exhibit and the beautiful Christmas lights. Both are lovely, and peaceful. I often take out of town visitors and everyone is always delighted.
