I went to see "Ethel", a one owman show by Terry Berrell. It was AWESOME! However, some advice.... It was my first time to the Woodruff Arts Center. And a bit confusing if you're not familiar with that part of Atlanta as I was... My GPS left me in front of another building. Just know that it's still on the... More

We attended a Travis Tritt acoustical performance and really enjoyed the intimate setting. It was very easy to get in and out of the venue. The only negative aspect was no tissue in the ladies' room stall when we arrived and an overflowing trash receptacle. :\

Thursday in the am, my husband and I took a stroll while downtown. Near the Arts Center is a park of sorts with chess boards. The community was alive with activity. Skateboarders, dog walkers, chess players, joggers, and walkers were plentiful. Nice clean area and the site is free. It is a good way to sight see.

My association took over the campus at the beginning of February. The venue is very well kept and the staff is very helpful. I can't comment on the performance spaces because I didn't watch one. When in Atlanta, I would return to enjoy a performance in one of the venues.

I came here to a concert by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, my niece was singing in the Missa Solemnis. I was impressed with the venue, good spacious seating, plenty of entrance and exit doors, and good acoustics. Also plenty of space outside the hall for milling around! I was able to see the Artists' dressing rooms, which I thought were... More

Went to see Christmas Carol at the Woodruff. Beautifully decorated for the holidays which was perfect for some holiday pictures. Went on week night when the play first open and go EXCELLENT seats (paid for balcony seats but after arriving was offered orchestra seating). Great singing and acting. This is a yearly tradition for me.

Have attended many plays at this venue. Very nice venue. Their isn't a bad seat in the house, but the balcony has best seats. Being in first row can be too close for some productions. Outside of the arts center, their is a nice museum that's adjacent. Venue has a limited theatre menu, but drinks are plentiful. Downside, the restrooms... More

Saw Wynton Marsalis & his band at Lincoln Art Center during The National Black Arts Festival. I'd never been inside before. Good acoustics. I'll go back for future shows now that I know the set up.

I love the friendly and semi-formal atmosphere here. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus have some of the best productions from Beethoven Symphony movements to Brahms Requiem and so much more! The tickets are pricey but totally worth it! It's kind of difficult to find parking there, but tip is to park in the neighborhood across there and pay the... More

Saw a great production called Whistling Psyche at the Black Box. Very intimate little theatre. Loved it!
