The tour was informative, interesting, and fun. Our guide was very thorough and answered our many questions. We were able to see the teams working behind the scenes to put on the news in real time. And, the best part of the day was meeting...More

It is the word head quarters of CNN and located just opposite to GWCC Atlanta. The main newsrooms and studios for several CNN news are in this building. It's a wonderful place to visit. Better buy tickets in advance.

But there is almost nothing to do in downtown atlanta. After you visit coke center, you either go to Ga Aquarium or CNN.

Spend a little extra and get the VIP tour. You get a cool experience getting a behind the scenes look from inside the production studio.

This is a tour of the facilities lead by an employee. You get a quick look at all aspects of the company. You are not exactly in the room but you are just outside and looking through a glass wall.

We were the only two on our tour! At first we walked up to a huge group of high school kids and got a little weary ( I teach HS and didn't want to feel like I was chaperoning this tour) but when they called...More

While I can't say that I learned much that will likely be of practical use to me later on, I can say that I absolutely enjoyed every minute of the tour and that it was fascinating, even exciting to witness news being made just below...More

We'd heard that the VIP tour wasn't worth it. We enjoyed the standard tour--get a reservation online ahead of time and then get there early enough to park and find the line. We parked across the street for $10. There is a food court inside...More

With so much watching CNN lately it was a real experience to see what goes on behind the scenes. We took the VIP version of the tour so really got a great glimpse. No celebrity spotting though.

CNN Center is on Centennial Olympic Park so very easy to find and next to other attractions. I pre-booked tickets so took no time to enter. We joined a tour group very quickly where we were escorted around the building being shown news rooms and...More

Is the VIP tour worth the extra money? And roughly how long does this tour last? I am in town for a conference and was hoping to do this during our 90 minute break. Thanks in advance!

Yes. It was pretty cool and the tour is a hour long.
Did you take the VIP tour or the Morning Express tour? We're thinking of taking the VIP as my husband is a news junkie, but wonder what the difference is and if the VIP tour is worth it.... Thanks for the help!

I took the normal one but the VIP was sold out. My advice go for the VIP but book in advance as they are very popular
