If you are looking for a place to spread a picnic blanket, or throw a frisbee, Piedmont Park is a great choice. Convenient to Midtown, Buckhead and not far from downtown, it's a good place to hang out.

A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery!!! The park has various places to sit...."shade on those hot summer days"....great lawn areas to spread your blanket, recline and absorb the sun. It's also great for biking, playing baseball or soccer. Family fun!!!

No you would need to drive from what I remember. Beautiful place. The aquarium is awesome. Also for the aquarium park in the left across the street for like $5.

There are several good restaurants nearby the park. Joes on Juniper, Einsteins on Juniper , Flying Biscuit
