We parked across the street from Krog Street Market at a lot run by Empire Parking Services. Our daughter used mobile parking app to pay. When she went back to the car with lunch leftovers, her car was booted and Nate, the attendant, insisted she did not pay. He refused to look at her mobile receipt and held her car hostage until she paid $75 to get boots off. My husband said he was laughing the whole time. Our daughter saw another car booted as the guy was at the meter paying his fee. Attendant sits in lot and just watches. Our daughter called the main office to complain and was told someone would call her in 7-10 days. Checking online shows multiple complaints against this company yet they continue to operate. Beware of where you park if going here.

Mid-size street market with various artsy-like, artisan options. Mostly restaurants/pick-up type places with a bit of retail. Connected to Ponce by beltline so it may be worth a planned trip between the two. No reason to plan to be at Krog for very long though.

This is a almost like an eclectic food court at the mall, without the mall!
There are a variety of different restaurants and even a craft beer store on site
Ample indoor and outdoor seating.
Parking is cramped and sometimes difficult to come by but within a small walk of street parking.
Food prices are moderate to high.
Go in and explore, lots of food options!

I really liked Krog Street Market! It was another really cute little market place full of fun and unique food options. There wasn't a bunch of shopping, so if that's what you're coming here for you might be disappointed. They have an excellent craft beer and wine store called Hop City. They also have a bar there that you can sit and have a beer or a glass of wine. We had ice cream at Jenni's Ice Cream Shop which was delicious and I highly recommend! Overall, its a really cool place to hang out.

Really fun market atmosphere right off the Beltway, with great food choices and a full service restaurant, and another craft beer place. I would come back here, and it's worth the visit; however don't bother the 45 min Beltway walk to Ponce Street Market. It was not worth the walk. Enjoy Krog and then go do something else.

Cool food hall and recommend trying small items from several places. Meat and Bread has excellent steak sandwiches which are a must try and the brewery is also good. Walk the beltline between krog and ponce market with a stop at ladybird along the way for a nice afternoon.

Smallish market area with selection of food. We ate at yallah. I got chicken shwarma and my husband got the lamb. They were both good, but the chicken had way too much cumin for my taste. It tasted closer to an Indian curry chicken than a middle eastern yogurt type chicken.
There are areas to sit or stand and eat. It was cute. We would go back and try a different place.

I loved this place. It’s on the Beltline so a lovely walk. Lots of eateries in a convenient place with a nice ambience. Mix of families, couples, friends. It is clean and lots of options to just hang out and enjoy your time.

I love this place. So many different choices to eat, so you’re sure to find something for everyone in your group. I love that it connects to the belt line. Last time I ate here, we walked down to the Kroger st tunnel, which was fun.

Stopped here for lunch on a quick trip to Atlanta and we were not disappointed! We ate amazing vegetarian dumplings at Gu’s Dumplings and enjoyed a super yummy strawberry-Meyer lemon pastry at the Little Tart Bakeshop, but our favorite food was at Soul: Food and Culture. We ate the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich, and the chicken and waffles. All were REALLY good, but the best thing we ate was their deviled eggs with bacon jam and homemade fried onions on top. So amazing.
There is also a local artisan chocolate shop here, Xocoatl, with great flavor options. We bought some to eat and some to gift.

Is this better on a sunny day or does it matter?
Written February 20, 2018
Craig city market is indoors so it doesn't matter. Sunny days are always better because then you can walk the beltline.

Do you think it's necessary to join the food tour or it's easy to explore ourselves? Also, is there parking? Thanks.

I'd definitely say its easy to navigate on your own. It isn't a particularly large place, but there is lots of quality.
