This was a terrific Walk through the sierra navada countryside. The track we did was 9km, and it was challenging in parts, but wasn't a problem to do it in about 2 hours without too much stress. Definitely a good way to spend a day.

We got a map from the information centre. They were helpful but the map was lacking detail. Once on the track you had to guess where you were. Intersections were not on the map. We did the 3 hour tour but it took 4 hours. It's not for kids. It would not take much to put up a dozen or... More

Very good trip to do with the family. The only thing missing is some signs to identify the way. You never know where you are going or how long it is going to take you. It is all an adventure!

We took the 183 bus all the way to the end of the route ticket was less than £2- it comes every hour and took 30-45 mins. From there you walk to Los cahorros- highly recommend active wear and runners. Bring some water and snacks for breaks. We spent about 3.5hours hiking and by the end we were beat! Highly... More

We had a nice non-strenuous walk (kids aged 10,12,14) through the park to the main suspension bridge. I hadn't understood what the main part of the walk is so to explain, the walk splits to the upper or lower path, I would advise you to take the upper path if possible even though the first slope looks hard work. This... More

I loved every moment of my time on this trail. I was only disappointed that we didn't have more time to spend there!

After doing some reading on hiking routes I have had this one on my hit list for some time. Finally I got to walk the Cahorros de Monachil and glad I did. I chose to start at El Puntarron restaurant ( there is a parking place just past the restaurant ). And set off from there, I decided on Cahorros... More

We visited Los Cahorros with our teenaged boys, who really were not very excited about going for a hike, But this is a hike like no other! First of all its not a difficult hike if you don't mind a bit of crawling, climbing or height on the rope bridges. In fact those things are exactly what made this hike... More
