If you havent much time on Mesa Verde go to this area as you have great views of STH two minuets from the car park , there is also a museum next to the car park.. all can be done quite quickly

The Spruce Tree House was the only cliff dwelling that was accesible for a self guided tour. This is, as right now, not longerpossible. Ther seem to be too much damage and some risk due to rock slides. But you can still see the building...More

This is a wonderful part of Mesa Verde National Park that can be easily seen from the marked overlook area. Bring binoculars for the best view. It's amazing to see how these ancient people lived and the site is very well preserved!

Very nice ruins. Unfortunately, it's close to the public, because there is some danger of falling rocks. Anyway, the view is spectacular.
