This cliff dwelling is closed and may never open again but you can get a great view from the museum area overlook. Years of foot travel and the instability of the structures means needing to keep people out, luckily you can still see it visually.

Incredible to view, this is another must see when in the Mesa Verde Park. This is behind the museum, you can walk down to get closer, or take a guided tour.

Self guided tour but the ranger was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Good trek back up so wear comfortable shoes.

The site is closed due to safety concerns from the above rocks. But we had many photo ops from overlooks above. There was no entrance fee due to the time of year and most areas closed. We enjoyed the isolation.

The trail to the best viewpoint was closed due to rock slides so we were very disappointed. However we could walk part way and still enjoyed the views that we had.

The trail to Spruce House is actually a loop...a little exertion and you're there. The ruins are stunning...no two ways about it! The petroglyphs are likewise unworldly. The information boards clearly detail what took place and the status of restorations. Fantastic!
