Besalu is the most beautiful and picturesque medieval town in Spain. There are a lot of historical buildings representing wonderful catalan medieval architecture. You can see a big characterful 12th century Romanesque bridge ! Go there, it's really a nice town in Spain.

For me it's better seen from the village with its reflection in the river. There is a large free car park situated at one of the bridge so crossing over it into the charming village will cost you nothing,
