The best thing in Barstow, really friendly owner/ticket man. Really clear audio via car radio. Plenty of room, relaxed cheap and an experience very hard to find. Two films for $ 8 an absolute bargain, go to make sure this continues.

We drove from post to see the latest Avengers film. It cost $8 per adult, but you are getting a double feature if you can stay up that late. Plus you can bring all you own goodies and 'camp out' in the back of you vehicle. It was fun!

For overseas visitors to the States the Drive In Movie is something that must be done. We are living not to far away so thought a visit is a must do. Doors opened at 7 for a 7.30 pm start and we were given a very warm welcome as we explained this was our first visit to a drive in.... More

Was looking forward to coming here as part of a 2,500 mile road trip. Unfortunately the 2, 7pm showings were of R rated movies and the 2 at 10 family fair. It would appear the drive in have little option in the matter but though this be no issue if you are a local for other visitors wanting to experience... More

Tonight I visited an open air,drive-in movie theater for the first time in my life. It was fun to watch a new movie under the sky with the movie playing on a big screen and the FM radio having the sound. The movie was so-so but the experience was fun. This place only accepts cash but the fees and the... More

If you have a spare warm night in Barstow I would definitely recommend seeing a movie at the Skyline Drive-Ins. The location is amazing - you watch the sun set over the desert as your movie starts and the stars look amazing. This is a perfect activity for a family or a date. The snack bar is super cute, the... At sunset the dessert heat gave way to a refreshing breeze and the boys talked our ears off about all the stars twinkling above. I was already riding a wave of nostalgia when, five minutes before the movie started they showed an animated short that looked like it was taken straight out of the 50's. The shows were good; two... Haven't experienced the opportunity to watch a film there, but I've visited the place three years running (in January), and have felt the ghosts of yesteryear nibbling at my heels as I romp around THE SKYLINE's wide open space(s).
