Over fifty exhibitions are shown at the Delaplaine each year in eight different galleries. “We strive to maintain a balance between the familiar and the avant-garde, the local and the regional, and the professional and the amateur artist,” explained Manager of Exhibits Diane Sibbison. The center provides the Frederick region with educational opportunities and experiences in the visual arts through classes, exhibits, and programs and it does so with enthusiasm and a creative flare.

Very small When we went they were displaying art from kids at local schools, which is fantastic! Just not what I was there to see though. Thought they might have other art on display too, but only a few pieces. Would not go back

I did a glass blowing course here and it was so much fun. My creations were dismal but the more artistic amongst us did a wonderful job. It was well worth doing and reasonably priced.

This arts center is a location where local artists can display their art and sell it. Some of the art was very nice and reasonable prices but some was definitely an acquired taste and way overpriced. I spent a few minutes wandering the first floor...More

This is a great art center that always has wonderful exhibits and lots of activities and classes. The space is also good to rent for private functions- the staff is wonderful to work with and the price is right.
