I stopped by this park every day of the 2 weeks I spent in Maryland recently. Great location, easy parking, felt very safe, nicely maintained.

Keep on going and don't miss the lake. Concert are, tennis, picnic area, play area. Walking areas and jogging. Something for everyone

We love to visit all the parks we can in Frederick. With the water for the ducks and fish plus the wide open fields, picnic areas, play scapes and the rest, the park serves a lot of people and families nearly year round.

My fiancé and I come out here to jog, run, and stroll. you will see families with kids, dog walkers and all sorts of different activities going on. This park is perfect for a picnic, BBQ, and different family gatherings. the scenery is beautiful.

You can stroll along the nearby canal or take in the nearby sites such as the beautiful City Hall and other architecture from the past.

The park is surrounded by streets with lots of parking. When we have a stroller we park closer to the high school end. It is easy access to all the sidewalks and paths.
