The main attraction was seeing Francis Scott Key's burial site. Appeared to be a well maintained cemetery. It was definitely worth a visit.

This was a great find for us. We were actually heading to Monacacy Battlefield, but drove past this on the way and just popped in to look at the headstones - an interest of mine. We were pleasantly surprised to find this was the resting...More

This cemetery is full of historic people associated with the growth of Frederick Md. There is a section of Civil War grave stones which are very interesting to read.

The cemetery is the resting place of Francis Scott Key. The cemetery is huge with many interesting dates and names, but it's also a very lovely place to take a long walk.

We run through this huge cemetery all the time but recently went on a candlight tour. Our guide was very friendly and excellent at what he does. We learned all about the history behind the cemetry and so many of it's residents.

well maintained and historic cemetery on a promontory above Frederick. Nice spot. Famous figures and also a significant number of Confederate and Union Graves in a long line along the back wall. Very good reading and humbling.
