A little chilly for spring but probably wonderful for summer in Arizona. The 14 miles in on the primitive road was a pretty rough. Beautiful area too bad for people ruining it so now its permit only.

It is a bumpy drive on the way in, but well worth it. Lovely campground, scenic views. Campers come from everywhere to camp at Fossil Creek.

I didn’t think the road was too bad, I have a small SUV and it did fine. There is a mile or so of a dirt road, but it’s not a bad road.
