A very nice place to visit, there are many restaurants and bars but travellers should be aware that in summer season you may be charged tourist prices in some places and be very aware of pick pockets, My advice to any traveller is not to wear too much jewelry and holiday season is very busy so too is the beach.

The Arenal prom is a lovely place to take a walk and stop after a while and enjoy some of the excellent food or drink in once of the many restraints / bars along it. Good for people watching or just relaxing and watching the waves crash in on the beach.

Always like to walk the promenade when in Javea, lots of shops and restaurants to visit and a fantastic beach as well. Very relaxing afternoon in the sunshine, fantastic.

Very much typical of it's type: a lovely beach, a lovely view, (mostly) lovely weather, and plenty to see and do. A super stroll, from Javea port, along the promenade, to the Arenal. A bite to eat, or a glass (or two) and a stroll home. Lovely!

We love going here is the morning as the place is full of young families with children. The afternoons and evenings bring out the real holidaymakers who like to sit and drink. There are lots of cafes and bars and places to sit.

Perfect for little ones with gently lapping waves, beautifully soft golden sand between your toes and play areas dotted along the rear of the beach, so you can sit in any one of the many bars or restaurants along the extensive promenade, sipping generous G&Ts whilst being able to watch your kids - perfect!

the last time I saw anything as good as this was in south Africa or the USA. During the summer you are spoilt for choice with restaurants all plying for you custom with their fantastic wares,

But it's not. The Arenal hosts a wide selection of bars and restaurants, lots overlooking the wide sandy beach and azure blue waters stretching away towards the Balearics. Busy with tourists and locals alike - a must go spot if in town.

We've been coming for years,Spanish,English,French,Germans,Dutch etc all love this place...residents get the dog out,put their best clothes on and out they go to promenade... After a while you will want to eat, don't worry plenty of sea front restaurants to try. Is how a holiday resort frontage should be... David
