Went to Amazona Zoo today, we spent just under 2 hours walking round, it's a nice place, animals are all well looked after and a nice cafe to grab something to eat in or picnic benches dotted around. Fairly small in size however still plenty...More

There were 5 adults and 1 Four year old in our party and it was a very expensive day out! I know that zoos do cost an awful lot to maintain and run but this zoo looked as if it could do with a major...More

Not our first visit as it is a handy place to take grandchildren. However, as it concentrates on creatures from South America, it is limited in its appeal. The children's facilities have been improved, but I still found it a bit expensive for what it...More

This zoo is ok but looks and feels like it needs a bit of investment everywhere. Thought it was expensive for what it was too.

A lovely little zoo - well worth a visit. Lots of feeding times for various animals to plan your visit around and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Some really interesting animals :)

This was a visit as part of our holiday. We were not disappointed. The animals here were definitely different, in particular the jaguar and flamingos. The entrance price was a little steep as the zoo was fairly small but the gift shop and the food...More

Visited for the first time recently, and weren't too sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised, and decided to get a season ticket as we are local and visit regularly. Food in the cafe was reasonably priced. Our grandchildren enjoyed a visit to the zoo with...More

There are a few entry prices depending on if you are going on your own or with a family. The website has the details but I think it's £11.50 for an adult £8.50 per child or £35 for a family of four. Carers go free.
