My husband and I recently visited here for the first time. We enjoyed the many trails, both paved and unpaved with little elevation. Most of the trails were well shaded. There was a picnic area however it was closed due to the coronavirus.

COVID-19 has taught me to appreciate our county parks more than ever and I don’t take things for granted like I used too. So as the parks are reopening with restrictions enjoy the beauty you can find within them, practice safe distancing and wear a mask as we do when walking the trails while looking at what nature has to offer.

We went off season and it was a nice walk. I can see it being crowded in the summer especially if there are bicyclists and pedestrians sharing the same path.

Set among homes and office buildings, Loantaka preserves nature, both water and trees, in a natural setting. Paths are easy to navigate. Ample parking is available at various locations. Riding stables abuts the property. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Serene and tranquil. A gem.

The area is lovely and the paths are paved. Great for walking and biking. Right next to the Seaton Hackney horse stables.
