Our kids just can't seem to get enough of this area. This is the third time we have traveled here in the last four years. It was their request. The heads as we call them are awe inspiring. And the hill of gold next to...More

It's wonderful to learn about the history of the USA and how the mountain was carved. The scenery is amazing and the hills unique.

I've been to Mount Rushmore multiple times over my life. This time I walked down the very easy and .5 mile short hiking path and got closer then I've ever been. I highly recommend you do the same. Admission is only $10 compared to Crazy...More

Even in poor weather this was a great couple of hours. Parking costs money but is well organized and entry is free.

I saw several people pull of side of road to take pictures (and avoid parking fee) but in no way does that compare to standing in front of this great monument. We experienced no wait or big crowds and had several clear views. Felt relaxed...More

Absolutely beautiful! The walking path and visitor center was very nice. We loved the avenue of flags at the entrance, it makes for great photo opportunities. We were a little disappointed that the sculptors studio was closed but the trip was still very educational and...More

The statue itself is pretty underwhelming. You can't use your America The Beautiful pass and parking is a nightmare in a gross enormous cement parking garage. It is an anticlimactic experience and the place is crowded full of fat white people. The crazy horse memorial...More

What an amazing place to visit. The shear size of the sculpture is breath taking. There is a $10 parking fee which is very reasonable considering the parking ticket is good for a year. This is now marked off the bucket list.
