Always lovely to visit Cosmeston. Last time was for a long dog walk around the lakes. Lovely and clean and seats somewhere to park the car.

Visited on Sunday afternoon. Great place for wildlife and great use of previous quarry site. Nice enough leisurely walk around the lake . Very muddy today . Useful amenities. Plenty of dog walkers. Can feel somewhat busy though I think.

Well kept park. Lovely and clean. Lots to see nature wise. Feed the birds. Walk the dog and kids! BBQ situated around the park and also picnic tables. Lovely cafe offering coffee, cakes, ice creams and meals reasonably priced, can eat inside or outside. Plenty of parking and toilets. Lovely family, dogs, fresh air, exercise, free day out.

You can park under trees, which is great on a hot sunny day. The whole area was bustling with happy people enjoying the summer. There was little or no litter and plenty of wildlife to look at. We didn't use the cafe but it looked inviting. Looking forward to going back.

On site there is a cafe that is well stocked should you decide not to picnic. A huge pull to Cosmeston is the Medieval Village. It stands on the exact... More

Well it's ferking cold. The trees are bare but the need for some quite time away from the city (and the 21 year old that knows everything!) has got me into my boots for a muddy walk around the lakes here. Plenty of wildlife here. Felt like the pied piper being followed by a gaggle of assorted birds, all anxious... More
