What made this so good was the movie and the personable staff. Small museum of artifacts, and a bookstore, along with three ceremonial mounds.

This is a well kept museum. Give yourself about 1-2 hours to see the museum and the mounds nearby. The mounds help give perspective on the life of this group of ancient people.

This museum tells the story of the Natchez Indians with artifacts and pictures/posters. The bookstore has much printed information. The friendly staff is helpful and provides a map to walk the trail outside the museum.

The museum although small was very interesting. There grounds lush and green took about 45 - 60 minutes to cover very close a main street. Very historical, lovely, well maintained grounds. A do not miss if you have children.

A very interesting exhibition about the Natchez indian lifestyle including some of the few remaining mounds There was not much about how their civilisation ended so abruptly We also enjoyed the nature trail which led down to a beautiful creek and cliff

The mounds themselves are mildly interesting, but the museum gives a very nice overview of the cultures of the Natchez Indians, including a nice video.
