Most of the machines were very old and dated. The casino it self was old looking and worn down. Basically it was very quiet on the casino floor and think that was due to the subdued lighting and generally lack of people playing on the night we were there.

We were so disappointed when we got to Isle of Capri. The place is SO dated, worn looking, and drab. The machines...on the upper floors, they're terribly old! The main floor had some decent ones, but the lighting, the lack of 'life' and just the general feeling that this place is on it's last legs left us bored in no... More

I was really surprised how good their buffet was. It is up stairs away from the smoke which was nice. They had excellent fish and fried chicken. The apple cobbler was really good with ice cream on top. It was nice to look out at the river while eating. The price was really fair and the service was fast. The... More

Getting to this casino requires either walking about 1/2 mile or taking a shuttle from a parking lot. The shuttles run continuously so the wait is minimal. The casino is rather small and average in every way. However, the lunch buffet upstairs is exceptionally good and only cost $8 while I was there. It was so good that I ate... More

I would like to disagree with some of these reviews. If you like the feeling of going to large, cavernous casinos like Paragon or Coushatta and driving home long distances in a bad mood after you lose your money, then obviously the Isle of Capri at Natchez is not for you. I personally am tired of feeling swallowed up in... More

This casino really has everything going against it. Parking is remote and you have to wait for their bus which in hot, cold or rainy weather is just too much. When the bus gets you to the casino you have what appears to be a 45 degree descent to get to the casino which is a boat on the river.... More

We have for many years frequented the Isle of Capris Casino, but always very briefly, because it is so small. We visited for the first time, the new Casino "Magnolia Bluffs" and found it to be very nice indeed. Outside of the Casino (Mississippi River side) there is a great place to sit and relax and take in the sights.... More

First this casino is on a boat on the Mississippi River. There is no parking nearby, you must park up the hill and ride a shuttle back down the hill. Then another shuttle takes patrons down to the boat. These methods are very difficult for persons using wheelchairs or walkers. Once inside you are greeted by rows and rows of... More

This casino really is terrible, canit get a drink , lot of welfare beggars hanging around. Plus, I play blackjack and have visited many of the area casinos, Ameristar, Magnolia Bluffs, Cushata, Lauberge, etc...and never have had a problem. But isle of Capri actually accused me of capping bets and 86'd me from their casinos. I couldn't believe it, I... More

Once you're past the battery of slot machines, just go upstairs, pay a very reasonable amount for the buffet and fill your face with great Southern fare. I particularly enjoyed the ham, candied yams, mustard greens, cornbread sauce & sweet corn, and still somehow found room for a portion of Key Lime pie. So stuffed that we didn't need any... More
