My favorite tavern when I am in the area. A veritable history museum inside an establishment old enough to have been frequented by James Bowie. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Stopped in here for a drink at sunset. It was just a short walk from the Hampton Inn where I was staying. The location is great, under the bluff and right on the Mississippi River with great views. Bartender was friendly and helped me pick...More

The band was good but it was a nonsmoking bar. They staff wasn't nice about it when I didn't realize this and actually was smoking inside and they yelled at me! I ran outside but was shocked how mean they were.

One of our go to places in Natchez. It's small, quiet & right on the river with a beautiful view. I always get pretty pics of the river from here. It's never crowded with overly drunk people either.

Super cute! Life band almost every evening and with or without music a super cool watering hole. Love the people, love the ambiance.

This place is located on a quiet street on the Mississippi river. It's local, good and well worth visiting. Highly recommended.

I've drunk in a lot of places, & this is Saloon right up there in terms of atmosphere, friendliness (bar staff & locals) & music. We were lucky enough to be there on a Blues night - Monday - and Brint Anderson was playing. Stunning...More

A great spot to hang with locals in a historic setting. What it lacks in decor, housekeeping, etc. it makes up for in local color, and we had a great chat with a local who provided some great insights into the city. It's also one...More

The Under-the-hill salon has a great appearance and atmosphere but the noise really put us off. We went in just for a coffee to check it out as a possible place for dinner. We decided that we would find a much quieter place. To be...More
