I enjoyed the Marconi Historic Site. It is small and in some respects there isn't a huge amount to see but I am glad we visited. We had our 11-year old in tow and he didn't complain about the time spent there. Marconi's story offers...More

I agree with others that it's important for Parks Canada to continue to operate small facilities like this one that hold historical significance. My family and I not only learned more about Marconi, but also learned more about radio operations and Morse code thanks to...More

This is a small exhibit and it is free to see it. It is very well done and it surprised me to find out the obstacles Mr Marconi had to overcome. It did not take long to go through the building but it is worthwhile...More

Marconi was the father of wireless radio communication and this is the site where his years of experiments led to success. Great little museum with clear displays, an interesting video, and some hands on learning of morse code. Well worth visiting.

A great little historic site with museum and park setting on the Glace Bay coast. Very educational and interesting displays. A great free experience for the whole family.

Check the operating dates. They seem to be few. Hence we arrived when it was closed. The view of the sea is good.

We enjoyed the trail that the Marconi National Site of Canada had established for people like us. We saw some rare birds flying above our heads. We had some great views from there. The telegraph was still visibly attached on the roof. Everything was well...More
