Great view of Colpoys Bay / Georgian Bay, the Wiarton Marina and the surrounding Niagara Escarpment. The Bruce Trail goes through the park so, one can start or stop here as you can rent a campsite in this beautiful location. There is a boardwalk along the water which makes the walking easy. The children can play in the splash pad... More

This was a great stop for our family and dog while driving home from Tobermory. Playgrounds for little kids and bigger ones with a beautiful view of the escarpment-wrapped bay. Clean washrooms, beach, boardwalk, lots of park for the dog to walk and best of all statue of Willie! We'd definitely stop here again on the long drive from Toronto... More

Located on the water front the access road leads off William Street. The park is the home of the Wiarton Willie Statue. It has a boat launch into a small harbour, with the breakwater used for diving and swimming in the crystal clear waters. The Rotary Club have constructed a wooden boardwalk along the shoreline, which has a number of... More

Bluewater Park is a great stop for visitors to Wiarton. It is along the beautiful shoreline of Georgian Bay's Colpoys Bay. Located at the park is the Wiarton Visitor Information Centre, a playground and splash pad for children, a small boardwalk along the shore and a historic train station. There's something to do for all ages. It is only a... More

We happened to picnic lunch here while the (slightly wet and muddy) multi-sport relay race was going on ... was fun to cheer on the runners as they crossed the finish line with a mini cow bell! Statue of the famous Wiarton Willie groundhog is here too (great for photos).

This waterfront park is in a beautiful location! It has a great view out into Colpoy's bay. The body-weight exercise machines were fun, well spaced and in good repair. Playgound equipment includes a mix of old & new slides, swings, play structures, etc. There are two large picnic pavilions full of picnic tables, lots of shade trees, a walking path... More

Beautiful spot for a break from driving - lots to see and do, playground for the kids, wade into the water, grab at bite at the restaurant, just take in the scenery. Lots of parking and places to run around.

We stopped in Wiarton on our way from Wasaga Beach to Tobermory, looking for a quiet and pretty picnic spot. This place is perfect! Beautiful little area by the lake. Peaceful but entertaining for the kids. Would stop by again!

I'm writing this as I'm sitting by a campfire, listening to birds as dusk falls, and looking out over the lake. Had a lovely bike ride to the Bruce trail and walked it for a bit. Also hit the LCBO for a bottle of Pinot which I am now enjoying. Town is very nearby for anything we need. Bikes are... More
