as long as you avoid a Russian Jeep as transport ! Our Driver-Guide took us for a gentle, if steep, walk around the Falls and then a light lunch

We stopped at El Nicho Waterfalls as part of a tour to Trinidad. We set off from Cienfuegos in minibuses - it took around half an hour on roads I wouldn't especially care to drive round, myself. So if you're travelling independently, get a taxi. The falls are in a beautiful, forested area - green and shady in the heat... More

I have visited many times and will continue to go back. Swimming in the clean cool water is the best. Lots of vegetation and sights to see,

El Nicho Parque is a nice attraction to do to go out of the city and do something more "nature". We can go their by taxi or with a travel company. We will suggest a taxi. It will cost 10CUC per person to enter the park. It is around 20/25min walk, way and back where you can stop at your... More

We took a bath in the waterfalls and it was fantastic. TIPP: Really really early in the morning or on the late afternoon are no tourists!

Very nice trip. We've combined our transfer from Cienfuegos to Trinidad with a visit of El Nicho. Very nice - much more beautiful as trip to Toppes De Collantes. Water is very cold though, but get in there. In the main waterfall, there is a cave behind it - you have to dive under it. I recommend.

Cannot be described in words the beauty of this waterfall and the water is cold and there is a nice restaurant where you can get fresh Goat meat and other meats which you dint get it in big hotels and the price is in budget.

Beautiful spot, really well maintained. Be sure to bring your bathing suit to swim under the waterfalls.

We paid 10 CUC each to go in. After using the toilets at the restaurant we met our English speaking guide who led us to the poceta de los enamorados where there is a beautiful pool of fresh water and then the beautiful waterfall. You can climb up on the side of the waterfall to see from the top. It... More
