We stopped here for 2 hours before leaving Cienfuegos for Havana. The beach is beautiful, and it was a good place for a swim, with a bar in one of the cabanas. There is a passable bathroom in the first building that costs a coin.

It is so close to the city center .We hired a private taxi for a return journey. The taxi driver picked us up after four hours, 10 km return journey for 20 cuc. İt is a long sandy beach where you can have sunbath, swim, have some drinks. There are several buffets though not easy to find water, fruits, nuts instead... More

Staying at Rancho Luna or Faro Luna the beach around these hotels are not as great. If you walk about five minutes you will reach this section of the beach which is awesome. There are a lot shaded areas on the beach and also places to eat or drink, the prices are very reasonable

Suggested by our host was a great choice for the day. Very peaceful beach, because not as well known as Playa Ancon. Generally in Cuba if you consume food and drinks at the bar you can enjoy the sun umbrella for free. We were not equiped for snorkeling, but I saw someone doing it. Our host also arranged the taxi... We went to rancho Luna beach after a visit to the Flamenco lake nearby. The beach is really nice and not overly crowded. I took some pictures that look like from a catalog.

The beach might not be Cuba's most gorgeous but it is very relaxing and not crowded. The water is refreshing and in a sunny day that's all you need!

This beach was not quiet what I had hoped for. The sand was hard and rocky and sections of it were quite dirty. Lots of debris has been washed up on shore. If you are looking for white sand that stretches forever, look else where. I still enjoyed my time on the section of beach by Hotel Rancho Luna but... More

We had a great time with the family at the beach, we brought cooler and a portable barbecue. The sunset is amazing, check out the picture. If you like snorkeling, it's a good spot. The beach was pretty quite. Parking is $1. There is two hotels, Rancho Luna Hotel and Faro Luna Hotel at walking distant from the beach. If... More

A pleasant beach a short taxi ride from town. The sand is clean and the water clear and there are sun parasols (not sure about loungers). There is a fair sized cafe/restaurant and a local youth is likely to offer you a fresh coconut with a couple of straws. Just keep clear of his machete as he lops the top... More
