This is a review of the Gold golf course, I reviewed the Emerald course separately per TripAdvisor place for Emerald course. It's a high quality track, with scenic views with slightly fewer scenic holes and plays longer than the Emerald course. Nonetheless, you can expect...More

The Emerald course is in fantastic shape, great views, interesting layout. You have to be aware of and deal with the trade winds and the grain on the greens. Those aspects are very real. The practice facility is very good. Everyone in the pro shop...More

The greens on the gold course are very tightly guarded by bunkers and putting can be a challenge. This was my best score of the three courses, but I think that i was finally getting over jet lag. Really liked the course and its challenges...More

Played the Emerald the first day and what a view! Almost every hole has breathtaking views! Course is in great shape. Not a very difficult course, but fun to play. The Gold course also had some great views, but not as many. Far more challenging...More

We golfed at the Wailea Emerald Golf Course with another couple and had a delightful time. The Emerald Course is the best of the three (Blue & Gold are the others). The Emerald Course has views from almost every hole. It is well maintained and...More

The Wailea Golf Club is as fine a public course as one could possibly want. The golf is challenging with well placed bunkers, tricky greens, and did I mention the views? The biggest challenge could be focusing on the game when surrounded by beautiful landscaping...More

I golfed in a scramble tournament recently and enjoyed the scenic views offered at most of the holes. The course was very well maintained and had some challenging holes. Fortunately for me there was not much water!

Played the Gold Course. It was interesting but nothing special. Not even good views. Staff was curt. Course is run like a machine because of the number of people that play I guess.

Yes, there is a fee for riders; you'd have to contact the the golf course. The afternoons would be less crowded.
