Great spot to sit and read, snorkel and relax. The waves were pretty string when we were visiting, definitely feel more comfortable staying close to shore.

Very nice sandy beach. Gradual slope into the water. Somewhat protected beach and a lovely setting. Walking trails nearby.

You can rent chairs, chaises and umbrellas. Good place to swim and for kids. Bathrooms. Parking. Also the nearby hotel has some parking.

There is shopping within walking distance at the Shops of Wailea. You can have lunch and wander about.

You can always go get in your car and drive to Makawao which is a cool little town that is "upcountry"...or you can just walk next door to the hotel and shop at the mall.
