This beach is georgeous. It has all the amenities. We rented an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs. The umbrella was $20 and $10 per chair. The rental is good until 4. The waves were the perfect size for body boarding. There was lots of families...More

We like to take a morning walk along the beach and stop for coffee at the Whales Tale while watching paddle borders skimming the calm morning waters. The beach is a great spot to lay back and soak up the sun and cooling tradewinds. And...More

We packed a picnic lunch and drove down to just before the lava flow. It was a great spot to sit and watch the Surfers while eating our lunch. A beautiful day indeed!

Best beach ever. Plenty of snorkeling, lots of turtles. The weather at Wailea is almost always sunny and warm...only occasional maka showers and trade winds. This is a busy and expensive beach. If looking for a more remote and earthy beach, go to Makena Beach

On the beach next to Marriot is the Four seasons which was excellent food and picturesque patio and views. They also had Kayaks, surf boards, canoes you can rent plus umbrellas with lounge chairs. The Marriot beach had nothing and was hard to get to.

Water is calm in the morning and waves pick up slightly later in afternoon. But not rough, which works for me. great for paddle boards.

This beach really is amazing. The water is very clear in the mornings, and as the afternoon sets in the wind and waves begin to pick up. Do your water sports in the morning as the least waves are then. Very pretty beach and not...More

This was a very nice beach from both a swimming and sunbathing perspective. It was not at all crowded. It seemed very safe--both in and out of the water. We had a great day at the beach in Wailea.

Wailea beach is a very nice beach with beautiful views. Very Relaxing! It's also close to the resort hotels for convenient access to food and beverages.

You can always go get in your car and drive to Makawao which is a cool little town that is "upcountry"...or you can just walk next door to the hotel and shop at the mall.
