This was a very nice beach. My friends' wedding was held here. It was not crowded and picture perfect for a sunset wedding.

Ulua is a great beach. It in not overly crowded and the snorkeling is great. It is best in the morning until about 1:00.The winds pick up and the waves get bigger.

Came here twice, where we were staying at North Kihei was windy by 9am but this place was lovely and sheltered. The snorkelling was great, saw more than one turtle on both occasions. Great to sit in the shade on the beach.

Visited this beach close to our condo for some sun and water. Was surprised with the awesome coral and varieties of fish. Parking lot is full, but spots open up in minutes. As with other south Maui beaches, best time to snorkel seemed to be...More

It is North of the Wailea Marriott where we were staying. NEVER crowded and a short walk. Water was beautiful, snorkeling great and body boarding when some waves came in. Still cannot believe that it was never overcrowded, even on the weekends. Highly recommend going...More

Spending a week in south Maui with our two teenage boys. Snorkeling has been a top priority for us, and we have diligently read snorkeling blogs, travel forums, even purchased a good old fashioned guide book- all to ensure we were going to best possible...More

Great balances of snorkeling, relaxing and swimming. Seems good for kids and playing in the surf. Snorkeling was really good on the north side of the beach

Ulua beach isn't a huge beach, but it offers many great experiences. The snorkeling is fantastic on the north end near the black rocks. We snorkeled there 4 days of our trip. On 3 of those days, we swam with turtles. There are always fish...More

This is a lovely, sandy, crescent-shaped beach. I view it as a mini Wailea Beach -- not as wide as Wailea, but also without the cheek-by-jowl rows of hotel beach chairs and umbrellas. There are shade trees towards one end of the beach and a...More

Just get on South Kihei Road or Pi'ilani Highway and head south. This beach is right in front of Wailea Elua Village and right next to the new Andaz Wailea resort. There is public parking and restrooms and showers nearby.
