The Zeiterion is centrally located in downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts and has a reputation of providing big name performers to residents and visitors. Among some of the top acts recently include William Shatner, Jay Leno, Melissa Etheridge and the late Joan Rivers. I highly recommend this venue. There are many excellent restaurants nearby, along the waterfront area.

My family went to our first show at this theater in New Bedford, MA and we were pleasantly surprised. The theater was easy to find and just off the main road (Rt. 18). The employees were friendly and helpful. The show (Momix) was a national quality modern dance act. Very entertaining. Parking was convenient and free. Tickets were affordable, not... More

We purchased tickets online through the Z for the matinee of the Christmas Carol. The Z has sent out warnings of fraudulent sites selling tickets, so make sure you are on the Z’s site when buying tickets online. Tickets are reasonable priced. Their online site is very easy to use. There is free parking at the garage adjacent to the... More

Looking forward to seeing Australian BeeGees with 5 friends visiting historic New Bedford. Lovely theater but the performance was deafening! LOUD base that overshadowed the very loud performers. Asked manager to do something about it but said they had their own sound manager and not much they could do! We left during intermission with head aches after the pounding base... More

They had a bar and you could buy candy. I would have liked more food offered. The seats were pretty old and soft.

Local theater bringing large scale theater productions. Fun events regularly. They cover everything from children's introduction to theater, opera, musical, orchestra, bands. Another beautiful old theater with architectural interest with a good night of the arts.

My wife and I went last night to the Z to see Kelly Pickler and it was our first time at the Z . We had heard a lot about it and I guess my expectations were too high. It was a nice place but boy does it need work. The chairs are a mess, many were ripped and the... More
