Beautiful church

This is a beautiful little church that is very worthwhile visiting. It has a beautiful internal decor and the view from the entrance towards the channel is spectacular!

As I recall, this church is not as impressive as some I have seen. Coming out of the front entrance you are confronted by lots of stairs to the street level. I had to hang on to someone so that I would feel more secure going down to the street.

We try to visit the churches in the small towns we visit. They give a sense of the local culture. This church is set on a slight hill in town with a nice view of the waterfront. The decor inside and out is clean and well maintained. It is originally a 17th century church, rebuilt in 1806 Nice respite.

Lovely church even if you are not a catholic. Nice view during the day and a beautiful light design at night.

I took a walking tour of the pelorino plaza and the beautiful church. Its a charming section of this island called the center. Super charming and well priced for the tourists

A wonderful church right in the city center of Ilhabela. The church is very small but beautiful and very clean. A great place to take pictures. I actually love the the cross with statue of Jesus in front of the church. A place not to miss when in Ilhabela. The parking in this area can be very full on holidays.... More

It's a nice little church. I'm not into religion but can appreciate a simple and nice building. It's right in the "vila" of the island.

This town is now a very popular place to go on Holidays and long weekends. I don't recommend stay there on dates like New years Eve and Carnival. You can get traffic, no place to park, restaurant with huge waiting times, streets full of people. And for sure you going to get hours to cross using the ferry( the only... More

Part of the main town near the square is the Bom Successo Church - very photogenic and is a little treat into the historical side of the island.

This church is gorgeous, set on a hilltop looking down at the town. Used sometimes as a focal point of community activity, the area in front of the church is frequently decked out with lots of little flags.
