It's fun on demand at Rainbow's End so how will you play it? With over 20 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone, every day of the year except Christmas Day.

The brand new ride, Stratosfear, at Rainbow's End is now open. It is seriously scary with a complete 360 degree rotation to challenge even the most seasoned thrill seeking ride enthusiasts. This ride is a first in the Southern Hemisphere, seats 30 people and with the complete 360 it's one of only 4 worldwide!

Spin vertically and horizontally, suspended 18m high on the Power Surge, be trapped in a runaway mine cart, or Fear Fall 18 storeys at 82km/hr! Defy gravity on New Zealand's only corkscrew roller coaster or ride the Log Flume with its dramatic water chute plunge.

The brand new Kidz Kingdom is also now open at Rainbow's End! The ultimate place to visit for children 8 years and under and the best birthday venue ever!

With Magic and Illusion shows from Andre Vegas on weekends and school holidays, it's definitely a full day of entertainment for everyone at Rainbow's End!

Open Daily 10am - 5pm, only closed Christmas Day.

Rainbow's End is the best place for weekend fun, kids birthday parties and spending some fun time with your family and friends! You deserve it! You pay one entry price which covers all your rides as many times as you like! If you work that out per ride it is really amazing value for the best day out. Only 20 mins from the CBD we are conveniently located with loads of free parking. See you soon at Rainbow's End!

This place definitely needs more rides. I have been to the themeparks in Australia and for $10 more or about the same price you can go to the themeparks which are 3 times as big and have more attractions. I took my 3 year old and after going on the rides once we were already bored. We got there at... More

For a NZ park it's the best. Nothing like it that I can think of in NZ. But if you have done Disney anywhere in the world your going to compare and it's no Disney. The rides are good, the two teenagers with me enjoyed the roller coaster most. It's got bits that are showing there age, I rode the... More

I understand that New Zealand has a much smaller market for theme parks, and it would probably be impossible to fuel this desire, but the only thing this park is lacking is a bigger roller coaster. The white one there is far too short, not thrilling at all and very 'safe'. Aka, not an awful lot happens on it. Everything... More

Rainbow's End has many different rides to choose from, but due to the school holidays at the time, the lines were large. The bumper boats was a lot of fun, make sure you learn how to control it, otherwise you'll end up spinning in circles like I saw a couple of people do. The Motion Master was a pretty intense... Spent day with grandchildren there. Plenty of choice activities. Food price is outrageous but thats to be expected at such venues. Entertainment was enjoyed by the young children but of a fairly average standard. Good to have a mix of older rides and the new thrills. Staff on rides were helpful.

We went just after the Easter weekend and it was really quiet - not a single queue! We went first thing in the morning and didn't leave until it closed. Great day out for the family no matter what age and level of 'fear factor'. I would definitely go there again.

Great for young families and an occasional visit for locals. If you've experienced overseas parks then you might be underwhelmed, my young son thought there would be more rides but he's been to the Gold Coast! Pros are the lines are short so that's a positive. More rides and activities would be a plus.

Always a fun place to visit but a bit small if you compare it to the Gold Coast or Los Angeles adventure parks. They could really use another couple of roller coasters but, that aside, the art work inside the log ride will leave all the log rides on the Gold Coast for dead. And The Stratosfear, although based on... More

If you're here in New Zealand, searching for a family-friendly thrill activity, definitely go to Rainbows End. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and go to all lengths to satisfy our visit. The Kids Kingdom is a great sheltered place for kids and they have such a blast. For New Zealand, this attraction is quality.
