I felt extremely bored and underwhelmed walking around here. Not much to see. As just a park, it's fine but not much else to do outside. The small museum was cool to walk through and watching the short video was informative.

Amazing location to visit, whether you're a into history or not. The National Park Service has done a great job with the static and interactive displays in the museum. The video is a MUST watch, but not for the squeamish or faint of heart. It was war after all. Make sure you support them if you go and shop in... More

The park actually doesn't have much to offer but the museum is fantastic. Along with the small theater that plays an excellent video about the World War II history of the island, the facts and first-hand captured accounts of the Battle for Saipan are eye-opening.

Was cool seeing a us national park here and that the museum was free. The movie in the theater was informative and very nice. The museum portion had some good info but most of the props were replicas or fake. But still for free it's a nice way to spend an hour.

It was my 2nd time to Saipan and 2nd time to American Memorial Park. I spent half hour walking inside the quiet and beautiful park. And I watched again the movie of "An Island Called Saipan". It was good worth of time.

This park is a must-go for history lovers! It is well kept and is in general very inviting for a nice walk. Additionally the small museum is really great! Despite it's sice it is tremendously informative! Start with the 20min movie about the island Saipan and it's history first and listen to veternas talking about their experiences afterwards inside the... More
