Dinner tour and 1800s dance presentation. Excellent evening. Plan on carpooling parking is a challenge, or plan on walking. There are a lot of stairs in the house as it’s an old large house and the stairs are steep. It’s a must is visiting Macon...More

Free parking is available behind and in front of the house. Took a free self tour of the first floor of the inside. The house is beautiful inside and out. There is a charge for the second level.

If you enjoy old houses you'll LOVE this. 5 stories, so be prepared to climb stairs. It closes at 3pm so make sure to arrive in time. Last year we missed it by 5 minutes!

An experience you'll long remember. This home was erected in the early 1800s and is still impressive today. Lovely, very large, with innovations rarely found in those days. Guided tour takes about an hour and is worth the small cost. Amazing.

Loved this experience. Super cool. I'm not a fan of a lot of historical tours, but this one was so interesting, and the folks doing it were good storytellers. Cool experience.

The house is very pretty- got to tour the basement, which didn’t have much in it, the ground floor/main level, the upstairs/bedrooms (they weren’t completely finished). Then they let us know for $10 MORE we can tour the 3rd floor above that, but it was...More

They call this historic home the Palace of the South, and it’s easy to see why. I shopped here to break up my trip from Atlanta to Savannah. The home features beautiful woodworking, painting, floors, paintings & sculptures that show the three families that called...More

Michael is correct. The tours are hourly. There is a $4 extra charge to see the upper levels or $20 at certain times for the "behind the scenes" tour. All very worth it.
