Went inside to just view the center and a few maps. There were rangers there but none seemed too concerned with asking my husband and I if we needed assistance or help with anything. We didn’t need it but it seems as if the employees...More

We love this visitor center, it is informative and the staff were wonderful. They have a museum, a gift shop, restrooms even an area to fill water containers.

A great stop before or after your trip to Hurricane Ridge. Very informative; the Park Personnel were willing to help and had good suggestions to see the Park, to camp and to enjoy the day.

We stopped by for our permits for an attempt at Olympus via Sol Duc. The climbing rangers gave us excellent route info and conditions. Don't be afraid to ask these pros for tips and advice!

Very good pkace to visit. Enjoyed a small trail walk near visitor centre parking lot. Then went to hurricane ridge . Ranger Brian has a very interesting presentation on the forest trees. Ranger Katie guided trail tour was very good. Enjoyed

We wanted to see the views of Olympic National park so we took a drive to Hurricane Ridge. the views were amazing. easy to see why the trees have a hard time surviving up there. A must see!

This visitor center was nice but wasn't anything to write home about. None of the visitor centers with Olympic were very large so everything seemed cramped. The selection of gift shop items was smaller here than the option on Hurricane Ridge, but it was better...More

Beautiful visitor center. It is busy and staff are very helpful and efficient. Good selection of books, etc. I bought a puzzle of the park. Lots of parking and clean facilities. There are shaded picnic tables and easy trails to explore from the center.

You could see parts of it, but not all. Perhaps drive up to Hurricane Ridge, then drive west to Lake Crescent and the South to the rain forest. Even that would be a long day, and you would miss the Elwah Valley, Solduc and... More

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
