The folks in the Visitor's Centers absolutely love their jobs. You can tell this when you engage one of them in conversation about where they work. Today's experience was no different. We had this wonderful lady who spent the necessary time to explain things to...More

Has a terrific view, and the staff was very helpful. The film was a little boring, but taught us some things. Small shop, nice bathrooms and water. The staff helped us decide what hike was best for us.

great to be able to get all the info needed as on way to Hurricane Ridge. Center staff knowledgeable and courteous. Maps, brochures, etc. Only problem we had was work on the only road to Ridge slowed drive considerably.

We thought they'd have more things to purchase in the visitor center. Make sure to purchase items at Hurricane Ridge area if you're visiting this national park. I'm sure they would have been helpful if we had any questions, but we were on our way...More

Possibly the most amazing vista ever of snow covered peaks in July. Some nice short easy hikes to the ridge.

They were busy, but friendly, helpful and informative. Had nicely maintained facilities. Educational and a gift shop.

Second time to Olympic. Beautiful place sadly populated by people on their cell phones. Hikes are elementary to advanced/scary. The key areas are quite diverse so one stop does not do the park justice. Park Rangers are terrific and very patient. Be sure to see...More

We talked to a park ranger who provided us with a map and a wealth of information on what to see and how to prioritize seeing it. They had the best exhibits of all the Olympic visitor centers.

You could see parts of it, but not all. Perhaps drive up to Hurricane Ridge, then drive west to Lake Crescent and the South to the rain forest. Even that would be a long day, and you would miss the Elwah Valley, Solduc and... More

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
