Great little hike

Easy to do. Very popular. This is a great hike to do in like an hour. Takes you right to a waterfall.

Located at the Elwha Entrance, it is a very close, accessible & short walk. Got a hr. to kill in Port Angeles?

Pretty waterfall. If you are photographing, a overcast day is a must. the sun creates too much contrast for a decent shot.

Easy to get to from Port Angeles. Once a place to park can be found, it's an easy and very short hike to view the falls. We had to wait to get some decent photos of the falls because there were people who needed to be at the pool at the base of the falls for their selfie photos. It... More

We did not choose to hike out to the falls as there was a barrier up -- that plenty of other people just walked around. I'm not sure if it was open or not -- but it is close to Port Angeles, the parking is easy and it looked to be a moderate/easy walk.

Well worth the little drive - just stay on the road and you will come across it. A very nice short paved walk to falls - and the moss is great - Wonderful.

This was our first waterfall on the way from Seattle to the Pacific Coast and it was perfect because it didn't take a lot of time but it was still great scenery.

If you are staying in the Port Angeles area, Madison Creek Falls, in the Elwha River area of the park, is both an easy drive and then an easy 1/2 mile round trip walk on a paved path to a pretty viewpoint.

Quick .1 mile hike to a waterfall. Stroller/wheelchair accessible. The toddler and I walked off the paved path and viewing area to get down closer to the waterfall for pictures and exploring. At the parking lot, there is also great views of the Elwha river.

This waterfall is great because it's not far from the car park and anyone can access it even the wheelchair bound. Not a lot of room to view the Falls, but if you visit mid week there's no problem.
