There's great grub at the Huntsman Hotel grill and a candy shop for your sweet tooth at the ZCMI Mercantile. Visit the Native American Village, see Native American dancers and make take home crafts. Don't miss the Visitor Center and Gift Shop, one of the best shopping experiences in the West. You can also see the Mormon Battalion Museum and Stoddard Art Gallery. We stopped here as part of a tour and in fairness did not experience all that is available in Heritage Park. We did enjoy the monuments and history displayed at the entry as well as the information available in the gift shop.

Do not go on a Sunday. Most of the attractions are closed. The train/trolley does take you around the park, with a very informative presentation. The price is very reasonable, but you should attend Monday-Saturday, when all the attractions are open, with people in costume,...More

We enjoyed our day here. We liked that the kids could choose their activities and it was easy to split up & meet back up. Several nice picnic areas. Shady spots staggered around. Splash pad & playground to just let the younger kids play. We...More

We were a bit disappointed with this park. It is a bit expensive for what you get. It is built like a pioneer village with many different types of buildings to visit. We went in the late afternoon; there was still 1 1/2 hours left....More

We love this attraction. The train ride, alone is worth visiting but the manner in which history is preserved and told through the movie production really moves you. One of the best gift shops in all of Utah.

Although the Heritage Park was swarmed with children on a Monday, it was great for all visitors. The staff, reenactments and displays/buildings were excellent and well maintained.

So much for the kids to do for not a lot of coin. Many crafts (bird houses, panning for gold, arrow head necklaces), petting zoo, trains to ride, historic stuff to learn etc all in on the side of the mountains.

Lots for kids to do. Large grounds with play areas, many crafts and great views. Price of admission very reasonable and there are coupons off too. Well worth a half day visit.
