Great place to visit

I love visiting Wheeler farm. It's such a treat for the kids. Best of all it's FREE to visit. Lots of animals to see.

This place is the best to spend time, if you want to take pictures, walk around, see some farm animals. Great place to bring kids, they have a few tractor pulled rides, little tree house type buildings, and of course the farm animals. Lots of people walking around and taking pictures. Plenty of ducks and geese to feed. There's a... More

My children always have fun at this farm. The numerous animals, extensive grounds and, specifically, the playground make for very happy times. I can’t drive by without my children begging to play or see the pigs. The farm has a small but friendly staff. There are various rides and events but we have yet to experience any of these. The... I was staying at the nearby Crystal Inn when I came across this historic farm not far from the inn. It has a 3 mile loop walking trail and it had very pretty grounds.

The historic farm is an short drive from downtown Salt Lake City. It has a historic house, antique farm implements, lots of farm animals in pens, corrals, ponds, etc. On weekend mornings there is a market with everything from hot BBQ to fruit smoothies and plenty of opportunity to buy farm produced fruits, vegetables, meat and preserves as well as... My husband and I were staying in a hotel one block away. With an hour to spare, we popped into Wheeler Historic Farm to look around. No fee to enter but some paid activities and wagon/train rides. Pleasant area to stroll around and check out the farm animals but more fun for young kids than adults.

A pleasant day in a farm. They Kids loved! We saw some animals, gave bread for the ducks, they rode a carriage, a train, ate ice cream and saw trucks.
