This great Ten story structure used to be an elegant hotel. Now it is a multi purpose building and has a number of great restaurants.

The lobby of this building is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. This is worth walking in to admire. Very ornate old architecture.

This is a very nice building on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. It houses many different things to do including movie theater showing Mormon-themed films for free, cafes and restaurants, a family history library where you can research your genealogy. Insider tip: Go up...More

Very beautiful interior. Restaurants upstairs are reputed to offer good views but we didn't partake. The whole building is closed on Sundays. The eatery on the ground floor illustrates one of the arbitrary rules of the LDS. They ban coffee & tea, so you cannot...More

Previously the Utah Hotel and purchased by the LDS Church, this amazing and beautiful hotel is not to be missed. Every US President from Taft to Reagan stayed there. Has 3 restaurants (2 on the 10th floor), a small family search center, a huge theater...More

Interesting building with lots of architectural design. Nice view of the city from the 10th floor. The pungent odor that permeated the hotel was bothersome to all four of us (probably from the carpets that lined all the walkways), but still well worth the visit.

The food was very good but the ambience is what sealed the deal for us. The staff are amazing and treat you like royalty. I would recommend this establishment over any other in the area.

The movie is shown just in english but ask they will have headphone with audio in your local language. Temple square has bi-lingual missionaries as well.
