This is Brigham Young's office and home. Free tours are given daily by Mormon mission students. The place is furnished with period pieces and there are some actual artifacts from Young and his family.

We've visited here several times ... always worth the time invested to see a bit of Salt Lake City heritage, and learn a bit more about its founders.

This and the Lion House next door is at the bottom of the square. Finding parking was an issue on a Saturday. They have tours.

Interesting place with some history about Brigham young. The Mormon volunteer girls will give you a free tour of first floor of the house, much of which is renovated. Interesting place where you can spend a little over half an hour.

This is the site in Temple Square the missionaries do the most proselytizing. That’s ok, it’s their church and they have much to be proud of. Overall, not much original in this property, just an old house. So unless you want the sales pitch, this...More

The Beehive house was the home of the 2nd LDS prophet, Brigham Young. The LDS mssionaries provided a good historical account of the building. Not all of the rooms are accessible to the public, but the ones they do let you view are good. The...More

I actually wanted to introduce the young people with me to the LDS religion, and this filled the bill. Two young missionaries, clearly chosen to illustrate the ethnic diversity of the church, gave us a tour of the house. There was some history, but mostly...More
