Located in the Liberty Park, this is one of the most intriguing sites in Salt Lake. The birds on display and some of the demonstrations by the staff are very revealing. You can spend as much time as you like and can continue to learn...More

The aviary is a different type of day experience. Apparently at some times of the year they have neat things happening. When we went there were no special shows or activities. We just walked around. It was very simple.

Great variety of birds, enjoyed the kea exhibition, and the owl display. We visited early in the morning, and there were not too many people at the show. So were able to get fairly up close to the birds. They all looked well cared for.

I love walking through the Aviary...with family or alone. There are places to sit and just soak in the sound of the birds. Places for the kids to learn about them and even showings where they can ask questions. Great place for lunch, taking the...More

Birds, birds, and more birds. Loved the variety. We saw the 1pm bird show... Loved the small venue, close view, and audience participation. I got to go on-stage for the adult participation. I also paid the $3 to feed the pelicans. I was the only...More

I took three grandkids, ages 15, 12 and 9 and they just loved this Aviary! The bird show was so cool! Sit on the back row, as the birds fly right over your head! It is amazing! You can spend 2 hours or a good...More

Only birds here of course, but well done. We just had an hour to look...they have extended hours 'til 8pm only on Mondays--we were there after dinner. But we saw all the birds in that time--the exhibits and explanations are arranged to make it easy...More
