The grounds and exhibits here are nice but after what I’d read about this place we were a little disappointed. We tried to get to the bird show but they had no schedule posted and we ended up having to find it by going online...More

The aviary is much bigger than you would imagine and has so many beautiful birds to see. It is a blast feeding the ducks and we could have meandered around for several more hours. Also, just the fact that it is nestled in the the...More

This aviary has been extensively remodeled with expanded displays and added areas with exotic birds. Weather permitting the birds are outside or if inclement are inside where they are attractively displayed. The owls and macaws are probably my favorite exhibits, but all are fun. The...More

The Aviary has quite a variety of different types of birds. And you can walk among some of them as they walk around, such as peacocks. Although I don't really like to see animals in captivity so much, it does give one the sense of...More

Mostly outdoors, this activity is very weather dependent. Birds were very active and appeared well taken care of.

Located in the Liberty Park, this is one of the most intriguing sites in Salt Lake. The birds on display and some of the demonstrations by the staff are very revealing. You can spend as much time as you like and can continue to learn...More

The aviary is a different type of day experience. Apparently at some times of the year they have neat things happening. When we went there were no special shows or activities. We just walked around. It was very simple.

Great variety of birds, enjoyed the kea exhibition, and the owl display. We visited early in the morning, and there were not too many people at the show. So were able to get fairly up close to the birds. They all looked well cared for.
