What a treat to listen to one of the greatest choral groups in the world practice for their next concert. The most interesting part was, though they are the best, the choral director was still giving them prompts and corrections. Acoustics and music were lovely.

Most delightful sounds, Choir is well trained, practices every Thursday it's free to listen to, Broadcasts every Sunday, but you have to be in your seat on time, doors will close on time, because it is LIFE on TV. Organ has 5 keyboards, Choir about over 350 members unpaid for practice and performances, perfect harmony, best acoustics in the Tabernacle,... More

I was able to walk the campus of the HQ of the LDS and was in awe!! The landscaping, the welcoming staff and just in general was a great visit that didn't eat up a lot of my evening!!!

Beautiful choir-sounded heavenly. The building inside was amazing. I imagined it would be larger. It was set in a beautifully kept square

No tickets required. Just show-up at the Tabernacle and they welcome you in. It's a practice session but at the end of each practiced song, they sing it through. It's as close to being in heaven as you can get on this earth!

I don't generally like choir performances. For a choir, though, I don't think there is one that can outshine the Tabernacle Choir. This performance was their annual Christmas concert, punctuated by one of my favorite actors, Jon Rhies Davies. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I was 3 years old when I first heard Music and The Spoken Word, the Sunday morning Mormon Tabernacle Choir radio broadcast. Now on TV and You Tube of course, I first heard this while sitting on a hay bale in Dads barn and my mother explained that "the Mormons thank God by singing - just like we all do".... More

Incredible experience! Attended the 1/2 hour Sunday morning broadcast that is free to the public. The choir and orchestra were amazing. The sound is so beautiful and big you would swear there was a recording playing with them. There is no 'sunday sermon' preaching. There was a brief talk about knowing where we come from and that family history was... More

The singing was amazing and the dedication to such a large number of church members is so impressive. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
