We had an extra day in Salt Lake City and found this daily recital on Trip Advisor so decided to go to it. It was outstanding...what a wonderful display of music with this amazing organ. Would highly recommend it,very relaxing.

The organist explained the acoustics of the hall and then played a wide range of pieces to demonstrate the abilities of the organ. And it is free. Plenty of room in the hall so don't sweat rushing to get in a line.

The tabernacle on Temple square can be visited. Also for concerts, see internet. It has 11.800 organ pipes. When the organ player is playing the sound is mindblowing.

A very fast 30 minutes listening to this gorgeous organ being played...along with the pin dropping demonstration...I was thrilled to be able to be there...my friends back home are very envious!!

No tickets are required for either organ recitals or choir rehearsals, which I believe are on Saturday afternoons. I don't believe there is a problem getting seats for the organ recitals but that may depend on the day you... More
