We did not fish we just went walking/sight seeing there: Been a while since I was at that Pier. The Fishing Pier is still pretty nice but as you are going to enter the Pier, at the Pier, there used to be a little like...More

Hurricane Irma floated this park. 5 weeks later the park is still floated. By the looks of things, I think this park will be floated for a long time. The water would have to be pumped out. The park can be viewed from highway 181.

Love coming here to walk the pier, and also to walk or bike the paved trail that connects to Portland.

Took a quick trip to do some birding of shorebirds here. I was surprised at the number of birds and diversity at this spot along the highway. Pretty views of the bayfront of Corpus Christi across the bay, too.

This pier is free. There is a beach next to it for wading etc. It is clean but all the lights did not work at night. Easy to get to as you are just off the tall bridge leaving Corpus.

This is a great place to come and sit with your camera or binoculars! Also a great short hike. Unfortunately some clean up in the area needs to happen. Lots of trash along the water line and elsewhere.

Indian park is located between Portland & Corpus , it is a great location for fisherman to fish at the pier and kids enjoy access to the water as current is not to wavy.

I read all the TA reviews, but I had to see for myself. The only thing there is a GREAT fishing pier. The bathrooms are port-a-pottys, but the pier is long and big. This place has great potential if someone would invest some time and...More
