It is worth the $8 entrance fee just to visit the magnificent orchid greenhouse, with its many hundreds of species or orchids and related flowering plants. Spectacular. The first "room" you enter after paying is the animal room, with multiple species of animals, all rescues,...More

These well-maintained botanical gardens have it all: butterfly garden, meandering paths, nature trail and water features, and exotic birds and reptiles. Bit best of all is the incredible orchid collection tucked away in an accessible greenhouse. The blooms are just gorgeous.

I’m not sure if the gardens are stunning in the summer but in winter they just seem run down. If you want to see caged birds they are plentiful but for the 8 dollars/person I would save a visit for summer.

The animal display was probably the best part, which is a bit unexpected for a botanical garden, the employees were very informative and allowed handling some of the birds, iguanas, snakes. Also enjoyed the orchid display. There were very few butterflies in that display, may...More

The displays are lovely and the variety is great, but the only aspects of the gardens that are reliably identified are the birds!!!! What part of botanical do the organizers not understand? I was looking for information about the many beautiful plants I was seeing...More

The botanical gardens in CC are pretty average as far as I've seen. It's a very peaceful place, and I never see very many people here. The grounds are very pretty, and it's very cheaply priced. Good way to spend an hour or two.

We like visiting botanical gardens because they are so tranquil. This one is a great example of how relatively small gardens can still be great. $6 for seniors and $8 for adults is very reasonable. Not only are three a great selection of outdoor plants...More
