A striking, all white building on the water, this art museum was voted one of the best in southern Texas. Although permanent exhibits feature art from the region, the museum is known for its rotating exhibits of fine art work in different mediums.

Groupon friendly smaller museum right on the water. Beautiful views thru-out entire campus. The water garden and sculptures are serene. We sat outside for quite some time just enjoying the tranquility. Several interactive exhibits and local artists to enjoy.

It was great to enjoy The Art Museum with a Groupon while in town, thanks to The Art Museum for that. Lots of interesting pieces of different types, at a perfect location overlooking the water, and with an indoor (maybe indoor/outdoor) coffee shop bakery.

Great way to spend two to three hours on a hot afternoon. The Outwin 2016 Portraiture Exhibit was very interesting. Very easy access and close to eating establishments after viewing.

While the museum is nice, it is probably not something the children will enjoy. It is not interactive, and it is not the Louvre, but for 40 some-things tired of the beach, it will do for 90 minutes in air conditioning. The best part of...More

Check Groupon before you go though. They typically run one and it's a good deal. I also remember seeing there is a discounted/free night of the week or month as well. You can call and ask which day it is.
