I was so pleased to hear about this home. The guided tour was excellent. It is the home where they filmed PBS Mercy Street. There are even a few of the women's costumes. Unfortunately the are only open on Saturday and Sunday.

This place is really worth seeing.. but do not go on the well published ghost tour [ over rated and expensive] Make sure you call to check hours.

Tour guide very entertaining. Offered many stories. Very knowledgeable on history of property. House is in need of repairs. Currently all historical sites and museums closed in Petersburg due to city financial state

This museum has closed to the public until further notice as of Friday October 21, 2016 due to budget cuts. It is hoped that an outside organization will take over the operations in the near future.

We parked at a local Restaraunt and walked over but they do have parking there for the Mansion.
